Petroleum journal is the project of "Petroleum Publishing House". The edition was registered in the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2000. Registration # 1043-J-28.01.2000.|
The journal's publisher and editor-in-chief is Oleg Chervinsky, member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, academician of the Academy of Journalism of Kazakhstan, and holder of Grand Prix of the journalistic mastership contest "Energy of Pen" conducted by NC ÊàzÌunayGàz and KAZENERGY Association devoted to the 110th anniversary of Kazakhstan oil (2009).
Creating the information resource objectively and competently depicting the current situation in the oil and gas industry and its prospects; representing the interests of Kazakhstan and large domestic companies in the international oil and gas community.
About what we write
The journal's themes are new projects, development of fields, production, processing, transportation of oil and gas, presentation of companies, interviews with the heads of profile ministries and national companies, statistics on production of hydrocarbons, monitoring of the investment legislation.

JSC KazMunayGas Exploration Production (KMG EP) has completed a deal on acquisition from its parent company, the national holding KazMunayGas, a 100% subsoil use right within four contracts for exploration of hydrocarbon raw materials in Kazakhstan.
Karachaganak Petroleum Operating
AKSAI, Western Kazakhstan Oblast, 14 June 2011 – Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) announced today that it has successfully put into operation an additional liquid stabilization train at the Karachaganak Processing Complex (KPC).
The deal was concluded on the sale by Kazakhmys Plc of its oil and gas division Kazakhmys Petroleum which was engaged in development of the oil field East Àkzhar in western Kazakhstan.
American Fluor Corporation has been chosen as a contractor under the expansion project for the export oil pipeline Òångiz - Novorossiysk of Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) up to 67 million tons of oil annually.
Yokogawa Electric Kazakhstan
On June 10, 2011, an official opening ceremony was held in the city of Atyrau of the first service technical center of Yokogawa Electric Corporation in the Republic of Kazakhstan which was attended by the representatives of the leading enterprises in the oil and gas and processing industries, as well as the large engineering companies.

On September 6, a welding ceremony of the first joint of the linear part of the Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent gas pipeline was held in the town of Turkestan, South Kazakhstan region.
